What is a "GRAPHE GROUP" MEMBER?

               We at Living In His Word Ministries are looking forward to an exciting 2010.

    Our simple goal is to get people to read and comprehend God's Holy Word.
    We now have hundreds of people everyday that receive our Devotional pages.
    We are also creating new and exciting ways for you to get involved in this work.
  

           Continuing with our time honored tradition of sending out a daily devotion,
we will continue with this ministry this year as well.
We send out a daily reminder of the postings of the Daily Devotion
This year we are once again visiting the purpose and strengths in Marriage.
You can have the devotional sent to your e-mail
or to minimize loading time  you can get a link sent to your e-mail so you can read it online

         Also we have a new Reading Schedule for you that allow you to read through the entire Bible in a year by reading only a few chapters a day Monday - Saturday. We will continue to encourage you to re-read whatever scripture your pastor uses for his message on Sunday.

        Another part of this ministry are Conferences and Retreats. We are doing several this year alone.

• A Teen & Young Adult Conference in Wisconsin Dells

• Marriage R & R Retreat to strengthen marriages.

• A Fall Envision Your Life Retreat for Married Couples

• Two separate Pre-marital Conferences
  And many more in the planning stages...

         One of the things the lower housing prices has allowed us to do is to begin looking at several homes within the Holland area that we might be able to purchase and renovate into Counseling offices.
We are looking at two story homes that we can do three things with.
   
1. Build an apartment in the upper portion of the home.
    (Our hope is to rent this out to pay for taxes and utilities)

    2. To build an Efficiency Apartment in the rear of the lower portion.
(We want to offer FREE this as a prophets chamber for visiting Missionaries and Evangelist)
(This will allow churches in the area to give more to them and not pay for lodging

3. To build Offices and Counseling Rooms in the front of the lower half.
(A place to have seminars and Biblically based Counseling at No or Low cost)
We are going to offering Biblically Based Counseling by a trained staff of independently funded counselors.
 

4. To give someone a part time temporary job rebuilding this Structure.

But we need your help.
Prayerfully and Financially!

 But back to the main question.
What is a "GRAPHE GROUP" MEMBER?

            Graphe is the Greek work used in 1 Timothy 3:16-17 for Scripture.

    It means “a document, that is a, Holy Writ (or its contents or a statement in it):—scripture.” Simply stated for our application it is a document that contains the original Word of God.

        The verses say “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

        As a member of the LIHW Graphe Group (The Scripture Group) you will be partnering with Living In His Word Ministry in helping those that have strayed from the correct path which God has laid out in His word.

• Some are Christians that have gotten out of the will of God.

• Many may never have heard the truth of God’s word and need to be given the light of this glorious gospel.

Whatever the case it is our belief and intention to point them to God’s wonderful Word and help them find the truth for their life.

    How can you help as a GRAPHE GROUP MEMBER?

            First, please tell as many people as you know about this free devotional service that will encourage them during their week. You can either forward them the link that is sent to you daily, or have them write to us requesting to be added at LIHW@LivingInHisWord.com, Give them the link to the devotional page at Daily Devotions or the link to the sign up page at Devotional E-mail List.

             Second, please pray for God direction during 2010? Our Web Site is changing. We hope to open an on line counseling page, an actual Counseling Center, as well as Christian Life Coaching Service online and in person, all during this next year. Dr. Senters and others working in this ministry will also be picking up many speaking and singing engagements as well.

And we are considering adding a missions supported computer ministry as well. (More about that at a later date)
Please pray for the several retreats mentioned before for 2010.

• A Vision Retreat for Married Couples.

• Another Marriage Rejuvenation Retreat for couples.

• A Teen & Young Adult Retreat in Wisconsin Dells during the month of June.

• We also hope to once again be able to counsel many Couples with Pre-marital Counseling as couples and in Groups. Please approach the throne on our behalf as we attempt to get people into God’s Word and help them enjoy it and want to stay in it. That is the only thing that will ever really change people’s lives.

Yes that is an ambitious goal, but we believe this is where God is leading.

             Finally, we are looking for a few people that feel God may be leading you to financially support this work. The cost of keeping the web site going as well as these new ministries are not cheap. God has graciously kept this going with the gifts and support of people like yourself. As we look at next year and possibly adding on mission supported staff, it will take additional funds. If it is within your means to contribute we would greatly appreciate it. If not, please know that we in no way are planning to ever charge for our devotions or have anyone feel they must or need to contribute. We only want you to consider this if God leads you that way.

• Each Graphe Group Member with a one time gift of any amount will receive a laminated Book mark that has the 2010 Daily reading on it. It is also a great tool to use in underlining you Bible as your read through it. You will also receive our quarterly e-news letter keeping you updated on this ministry and those ministries partnering with us.
   

• For any Graphe Group Member pledging a monthly contribution for 2010 of $5.00 a month or more, you receive all above plus you will also receive a copy of the book “Trail of Blood.” In Additions you will recieve a discount card good for any items we will have available over the next year.
   

• For any Graphe Group Member pledging a monthly contribution for 2010 of $15.00 a month or more, you receive all above plus you will also receive one of our CD's of your choice.
   

• And finally for any Graphe Group Member pledging a monthly contribution for 2010 of $25.00 a month or more, you receive all above plus at the end of 2010 you will receive a voucher good for $200 off any retreat we do in 2011.
